Aqaba International Conference for Clinical Nutrition (AICCN) – Evidence to Practice is the first clinical nutrition conference ever held in Aqaba, launched to help make the city a regional science hub for practical, guideline-driven care. Over two focused days, the program delivers case discussions, panels, and skills sessions you can apply immediately in hospital and community settings, with invited lectures by esteemed doctors from Amman, Aqaba and additional international countries.

Alongside the broader scientific agenda, selected ESPEN LLL live courses will run as an independent educational component with objective assessment and certificates upon successful completion.

27th March 2026 - Day 1 Sessions

LLL ESPEN Nutrition in Obesity

Objective: To present comprehensive, evidence-driven strategies for the nutritional management of obesity, with a focus on sustainable weight reduction and the improvement of metabolic health. This newly introduced module for 2025 will bring the latest insights and innovations in obesity care to the conference program.


LLL ESPEN Support in Pediatric Patients (2)

Objective: Various aspects of the alterations of the metabolism of critically ill children and the consequences for enteral and parenteral nutrition are discussed. Principles of nutritional assessment are described and methods to calculate energy expenditure are given. Indications, contraindications and recommendations for the administration of enteral and parenteral nutrition are described.


28th March 2026 - Day 2 Sessions

LLL ESPEN Impact of Diabetes on Nutritional Status and Nutrition in Dyslipidemia

Objective: To examine how diabetes and lipid disorders influence nutritional requirements, and to provide evidence-based dietary interventions aimed at improving clinical outcomes.


LLL ESPEN Nutrition and Prevention of Diseases

Objective: To explore the pivotal role of nutrition in preventing both chronic and acute diseases, emphasizing dietary approaches that promote long-term health and well-being.
